I’ve always felt drawn to machines and computers. How do they work? How can I make it do this? What happens if you push this button? I’ve been fascinated by experiences, customization, and improving this.
In my personal life, I identify myself as a proud mom and a true tinkerer. I love making and fixing things and have a deep appreciation for everything that grows. That is why I always have a project on the table. No matter if it is a 3D printer for which I make 3D objects, building my custom PC, or embroidering initials on towels with my embroidery machine, I love discovering how things work. Next to that, I love organization and structure. Since I have become a mom, time is precious, and structure helps, especially when you are a hobby collector like me.
As a programmer, I believe in good-quality code and well-thought-out systems. It may be as simple as providing the user with simple features such as changing brand colors for their website or well-structured documentation for other programmers to be able to understand a code base. And even though this sounds incredibly basic, not every company or project allows for it to be done well. However, I’m a big believer in good structure and have it way high on my priority list. I have a deep background in design and a healthy curiosity for backend development, but I’ll always see myself as a true front-end developer.
